I am a Sydney based jewellery designer and come from a long line of creative and artistic people. All my jewellery is designed with a story in mind and each story is told through the intricate design and combination of all its individual pieces.

I was lucky enough to be brought up surrounded by artistic expression in many different forms and my brother, sister and I were always encouraged to be creative in everything we did. Whether it was with movement, a pen, paintbrush, play or our imagination left to run wild! I have an amazingly beautiful and clever Mama and a patient, caring Grandmama to thank for it. I owe everything to both of you and love you so very much.

Some people say you can't choose your family. I think this is very untrue and believe you choose your family long before you are born - and I choose them still. Each range is named in loving memory of these amazing people - ones that I have had the pleasure of knowing and others that I have come to know through stories.

All Avery & Olive materials are sourced from quaint little vintage boutiques found at the end of obscure little alleyways with owners that have many a great story to tell of where each piece has originated. Or from hours of rummaging through my mums sewing boxes drinking cups of tea and making a beautiful mess together. Along with hours spent exploring this magnificent thing called the world wide web making our world so much smaller and opening our eyes to so many beautiful things that was once not possible unless very well travelled.
